Beautiful Birds in Batik on Fabric with Jenny O’Leary. 15th June 2024

Saturday 15th June.
10am to 4pm

Inspired by the exciting art of batik – hot wax resist – on fabric with inks we will use traditional and non traditional tools to create beautiful images inspired by birds. Garden birds, water birds, chickens, ducks etc and their habitat can all provide inspiration. The batiks will be suitable for adding to with stitch at a later date.

Jenny will provide wax, inks, and use of all equipment
Please bring with you an apron, hairdryer, two pieces of white or light cotton fabric, these can be vintage or pre used. Images of birds for inspiration.
